On September 14, 2024, join a ride through the heart of the Rocky Mountains to raise money for Wellspring Alberta!
Cancervive is an annual one-day bike ride through Banff National Park along the Bow Valley Parkway, raising funds for Wellspring Alberta. Wellspring Alberta offers free programs and services to people living with cancer, including those diagnosed, their caregivers, and their children. Riders can choose from distances of 25, 50, 75, or 110 kilometers.
Featuring a paved route closed to vehicle traffic, a variety of distance options, and the choice to ride an e-bike, Cancervive accommodates riders of all levels and abilities.
Many Cancervive participants are cancer survivors. The event is dedicated to inclusivity, organizing smaller riding groups to ensure no one is left behind. This commitment aligns with Wellspring Alberta’s mission to ensure no one faces cancer alone. Since its modest beginnings in 2005, Cancervive has raised over $2.8 million for Wellspring Alberta and families affected by cancer.
