Teagan Rasche is a digital broadcast journalist for Global Winnipeg.
From the hottest state to the coldest province, Teagan’s journalism career has taken her to many places. Originally from Port Coquitlam, BC, Teagan was a lifelong competitive athlete who eventually earned a track and field scholarship to the University of Arizona. She earned a degree in journalism and started her career at KSWT in Yuma, AZ. Teagan moved back to Canada and her next stops were CHAT News in Medicine Hat, AB and Global Saskatoon.
Some of her most memorable stories include documenting the border wall construction in Yuma, flying in a hot air balloon in Medicine Hat and covering the stabbings at James Smith Cree Nation.
In her spare time, Teagan loves playing competitive ringette, traveling and listening to country music.
